i told my husband that i'm pretty sure i wasn't allowed to play with these when i was younger but i can't remember the reasoning behind it?
was it because they had special powers?
or was it because one of them had a four leaf clover on him?

i'm about halfway through and i think they're very engaging books.
not sure about all the beliefs laid out in the books, but i still find them really interesting.
I didnt think i would like them, but they are entertaining and addictive....Im reading Glorious Appearing now!

ok, we all know of this uncanny word play about not saying, "you were lucky," and not saying "bless you" after someone sneezes.
but this is a bizarre one i heard.
Once an elder said saying Oh My God was offensive to God because it was like we were blaming him for what we were seeing or hearing....
